What is a system? What are the limitations of a system?

System can be underlined the field of information systems. A systems can be simply defined as a group of interrelated or interaction elements forming a unified whole.

A system is a group of interrelated component working together towards a common goal by accepting inputs and producing outputs in an organized transformation process. It has three basic interacting components.

Ø            INPUT
Ø            PROCESSING
Ø            OUTPUT

LIMITATIONS OF A SYSTEM:
System makes it is possible focus in a particular system within a hired of systems.

A limitation of a system may exit either physically or conceptually. The operational definitions of a system in terms of its limitations

List all the components that are to make up the system and scum scribe them. What ever found. Within this circumscribe space is caused the system and outside this space is called the environments.

Work out the follows across the limitation. Flows from the environment into the system are called “INPUT”. From inside the limitation to outside are called “OUTPUT”.

Identify all elements that contribute to the specific goals of the system and include these within the limitation if they are not included.
System building blocks for information system made up of the six building blocks that area.
Building blocks system can be formed into functioning information systems that meet the needs of organizations and their user understands these blocks, their relationship and coup things and their logical and physical context provides the basic knowledge for describing, developing and designing information systems.
